Discovery Meeting
We get to know each other better
At the beginning of the project we’ll start with three things:
Review mood boards and existing reference material
Examination of the existing brands in this space
Collaborative positioning exercise
Communicating who we are, how we talk about about ourselves, and to whom we’re speaking are all foundational to building effective brand connections.
Included in this engagement –
Recap of naming + positioning exercises, mood board
landscape evaluation
Design R1
We take a look around
Drawing on the findings from Phase 01, the first presentation will focus on breadth of directional considerations. Some may be perfectly on point, some may be wide of the mark. At this point a strong ‘No’ is just as important as a strong ‘Yes’. This phase allows us to put a stake in the ground to begin building off of. It could be that we nail the primary logo right off the bat, it could be that we come out knowing what we don’t want.
I promise you’ll love what you see.
Included in this engagement –
2-4 comprehensive design directions
Design R2
Bring our favorites
to life, keep pushing
As I incorporate design feedback and evolve the next round of design, we’ll start to look at the logo, colors, typography and photography as they’ll be used in the real world. This will be focused on identified needs i.e. homepage, business card, etc.
Included in this engagement –
Refined brand directions, executional considerations
Design R3
It’s all coming together
